With the spx hitting the converging 50 and 20 day MA yesterday it was going to be hard to break that especially on this low volume move up for the past few days. Could see a retest if 1594 is broken.

We see these come up mainly on SPY IWM QQQ and DIA as well as some stocks like AAPL IBM and others. Although we don't know the exact source, we have debated this a million times before, commonly we believe they are the HFT trading machines slipping up and "showing"their hand, so to speak....

The guys is funny. Although the title sometimes get blocked at my work. LOL! But have to admit he has been right about alot of thing.

the PnF chart still showing 1652.2 to 1656.30 as area of resistance. Looks to be holding strong. A break will lead to a run to 1670. I think it fails myself based on the volume action.

Uempel can you explain they chart a little?

SPX looks to have hit 1652.2 (taken for a 30 min PnF charts) resistance. Interesting how they opened today slightly above the 20ma.

the break of spx 1643 resistance should lead to a rise to 1654 then to 1670 is 1654 is broken. Just learning the PnF way.
