Is there a good rule of thumb for a stop loss when trading a bear flag? Or is it best to trade the break (which appears to be a break of yesterday's low)?

SPX... tradergirl -- how do you make those target boxes on TOS that show the target price? Looks like TOS that you are using --- is it something else? I'm on TDAmeritrade....using Drawings "Rectangle" tool.... TOS (ThinkorSwim) = TD Ameritrade these days. Mine doesn't display the price on...

Cobra, how long before consolidation here turns into something bearish....

Path of least resistance is up (simply because no one asks questions when the market rallies and another dump could get ugly). Bots are trying to get a head start in the pre-market. I'd really like to see an actual test of that 1307 line. 1314 (ES September) should be some resistance, that fails, 13...

Bears need some prayers here. Chart looks very bullish. Bulls are setting up for 1335. Bears need to see some big red soon -- overthrow could trigger that move to SPY 130 that someone targeted earlier (pbar?)

Looks more like a bear flag or some sort of wedge to me, but I'll stay neutral now, which I think is wise. No sense shorting here, when we all know that if 1290 breaks? things get ugly.

Bulls better start praying. Slim margin of error here. Bears are attacking.

mkt has NO legs. buyers only show up overnight and dump as soon as they hear a bell. however, all noise. at some point, they break through. 1290 held again, we should have some sort of test to the upside.
