Cobra's Market View

Is it me or was $NYMOT down the last two days with SPY up the last two days? Granted SPY was Barely up on thursday - Don't know if that's a sign a turn is coming or just a sign that numbers and signals don't matter much anymore....

I have been buying VXX - TVIX seems almost too crazy even for me - $VIX down TVix way up VXX unchanged .... any thoughts? Never seen that before ... ever ...

Any advice on VXX is welcome - I know it has bad contango ... but i believe TVIX is double levered?

Is it me or has someone figured out how to totally manipulate the $VIX and is just shorting instruments like VXX to make money off it ? I have never seen the Vix move this way before -
