europe closed at HOD cash session, so gap dowm tomoz? And do you ever cross refer that when looking for clues for US markets direction please?

Cobra do you ever cross refer FTSE / DAX closes etc to guide state of play for US indicies?
FTSE closed 5697. Near HOD , so your trick would guess gap down tomorrow?
Therefore meaning down from here in futures, could be during Asian sessions admittingly.
