The strategy is first to scan strong stocks, then I hand pick those with base and breakout patterns.
In a strong market, the scan for strong stocks should yield around 400+ stocks.
175 candidates today is a surprisingly bad number since the market is at all time high and up a lot since the last week, yet the strong stocks count is even less than the last week's 180. So the number actually tells us the rally was not broad based therefore suspicious.
