Just my way of letting people know that FT71 is not prescient on market moves. I listen to him for about 10 minutes in the morning because he is honest and has to comment the next day on what actually happened. The very process we are all supposed to do (study our trades after the fact). Yes he does say so when the market does something he did not expect. He also comments when he has losses.
To me it is very positive to watch several different ways to win at this game unfold. Proves what they say about many many answers.
internals:
according to the Kneupper TICK (bottom panel), the swing buy (green arrow) was 12/26
and it looks like the swing sell (red arrow) is today

Earlier I got glitch also. I am not rely on stockcharts.com for intraday trade any more. they are still good for other study.
They were slow getting going today on CandleGlance. They have served me well for many, many years. Not ticked off yet. I expect the wild gyrations in the market might be having an effect.
It seems like a new ballgame with stocks. Gonna need hardier systems. 10 year runs might be a thing of the past.
Kind of missing the quiet years, the stable years. Even overnight holdings can be scary. Just riding with it so far. But I don't have to make a living at it. I expect for the fund managers it is more stressful than ever.

Big picture. We are at resistance. Don't know if the market can break through. Lots of negatives out there. The market has been crazy since October. And I don't think it is going to settle down.

According to my twitter feed there have been several large sell programs going off today.Makes me wonder if the CTA's are actually waiting for 2600 (per Charlie McElligott).
