AMZN reported last night.
Soaring nearly 12% AH on Thursday, AMZN gave up all of its gains, and then some... Triggering the initial move higher were strong quarterly profits, cost cuts and robust sales, but worries set in on the post-earnings conference call as executives gave somewhat of a cloudy outlook.

The U.S. government is "coordinating urgent talks" to save First Republic Bank (FRC) as "private-sector efforts led by the bank's advisers have yet to reach a deal." That's according to Reuters, which said the FDIC, Treasury Department and Federal Reserve are all involved, and seems to echo similar comments made by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. While the efforts may help bring more parties such as banks and private equity firms to the negotiating table, it's still unclear whether the U.S. government will ultimately participate in the rescue. On Monday, First Republic (FRC) revealed that deposit outflows totaled $70B in Q1, and put the spotlight on Wall Street institutions that deposited $30B at the bank on March 16 to stave off a regional banking crisis.

Amazon Web Services competing with google and microsoft. That is where the money and the value is. Last year some analyst pointed out that all of Amazon's forward facing retail business was valued at net book by the market, stock moves on AWS, essentially the business they do providing software and server farms to others.

Tried to count the waves this morning just for fun. I was surprised at how well it turned out.

I will post some new seasonality charts on oil tanker rates as well asa a couple of broker price targets this weekend. The difficult thing about tankers is that they get jerked around with oil prices.

I've posted it on here previously, most recently in November when it had a run up.

It is making a couple of leaps up now, pushing outside the Bollinger envelope.

Not recommending.
