anyone have thoughts on a highly risky aapl short trade?

this will be an accumulation trade with a 3-10 month horizon. i'm eyeing appl oct. 425 puts @ 8.20. they seem a bit rich to me, suggesting that MM's are pricing in some downside risk in the future.

accumulation meaning i'll be legging into it over the next month. 1 option contract at a time.

I am thinking about it only..Looking at longer term puts but not as far out as OCT..Why that long?????

Good point - it certainly does look like it is reversing lower - the DAX has been the key to the US market's morning gap ups..... so it should be watched closely.

These days it's no longer a matter of "if" the bulls will BTFD it's just a matter of from where they will BTFD. My prediction earlier is still very much intact with the failure to take out 1395 ES with some conviction (a term that bears are unfamiliar). Looking right now like some sort of falling wedge (bias up!)

HFTs were hitting all dips until they stopped one minute before the high. It took little to drop it. But at the low at 11 Am we saw the biggest quote stuffing of the day.

Never before has the manipulation of the mkt been so clear. It's 1907 all over again. Unless
Nature's Law" can take over, they will continue to pump this dog higher and drop it as needed to profit. I anxiously await the anarchy in Greece, and it will be set-off almost assuredly by Goldman Sachs ("Vulture's Paradise") who will profit greatly. But I think they will get more than they bargained for in the end, and so may we! Matt Talibi said the same thing in The Rolling Stone in his articles on GS and their quite disturbing history of economic cause-and-effect profit since their inception.
