Notice how this afternoon pBARs (the way I have them) line up with upper yellow/purple diagonal line. Consider the yellow line a hurdle that bulls will have difficulty crossing. Alternatively yellow line and/or the intersection with purple is a GAP up target.
Yes, price followed purple line down and that is not what I was expecting (when I gave my mid after noon prediction), until a down pBAR appeared. Moral of story: one has to be flexible in their views. I actually shorted ES to 10 cents above the pBAR target as soon as I saw the pBAR. Remember, I did have the down scenario in my mind.
In posting my analysis I have tried to highlight various ways one can learn what pBAR
may be indicating. However, despite the best effort to make some sense, the exact meaning of these remain elusive.We are can make some educated guesses. So than what is the take home message: Price target is only one facet of pBARs, there are many other.
