He means that there is no POMO allocated to the market today - so no money allocated to the purchase of bonds.

Idle speculative thought.

Tomorrow's weekly close (or perhaps the European close) may be more salient than usual (Friday afternoon rips and opex setups notwithstanding).
During the last financial swoon, problems tended to emerge over the weekend.
So, if Portugal and and related european bank stuff is a non-issue, folks will hold risk over the weekend.
If folks are nervous however or if there is a snake (said with all due respect to our sponsor!) hiding in the woodpile, we may see some defensiveness going into the weekend.

vol surge, biggest white bar, so pullback here first? Then we'll see. I'm neutral although think bears are hopeless.
