Until we see VIX above 14 (more like 16 but I am being generous), bears are basically extinct.
So, this down move is interesting but perhaps just a tease.

Bring in the put buyers.. only to bury them next week during options. Seems like a recurring theme.

actually open interest spy got heavy puts about 2-3 days back. how does the action feel today? so far "they are buying" but it's not just skyrocket. so fewer buyers more covering so far today. we are back up over the 20 ema daily with a fairly epic looking price bar on a daily (size matters). heading into the two prior days "resistance".
