NY declining volume = 2.8x advancing volume
NY declining stocks = 1.8x advancing stocks

Nothing has changed from the open on SPY. The hourly tight bbs that broke to the downside favor (but don't guarantee) a multiday pullback. None of my short term indicators went oversold yet. My bias is down, but I'm not trading it unless things get quite oversold.
bearish as of SPY 406 on 2/17/23
currently: end bearish as of SPY 406 on 3/6/23

There appears to be supply above 198.20.
The pop of the last few days may be month end window dressing.
If it can make fresh highs in the new month, though, it looks bullish.

The CoT has the commercials quite short and the speculators quite long, which is net bearish.
There should be a huge move in this when one side or the other caves.

A few more hours and this 60 min system goes on "sell": both ROCs/momentum beneath their respective MAs and a crossover of SPX 30/48 is looming :geek:

Hey I was hoping you would reply! I don't normally follow commodities but I've seen a few times lately statements about the Brazil crop forecast creating tight coffee supply through 2016. Any thoughts re: the fundamentals?

Testing the staircase, the neckline and the cloud
Considering the old adage “stairs up, elevator down” note the 15 Aug “elevator” (that was OPEX and the dow closed down 50p. That “elevator” lasted just 90 minutes and didn’t harm the 5dma nor the cloud). Today we’ve breached both.
H&S bear target (blue box) is 198.75. For the bulls to conquer the world AGAIN, the bulls need to continue the dip-buying and the higher lows and bust through the red descending trendline and the cloud, near 200.25ish.
As I type this the bulls keep pushing. A break may require more testing

Hi boss :D
RRG Sectors with a six-week tail
At the top “groups” will drop-down and you can select other stuff
Right side, just under the SPX chart, you can slide the “tail length” to give you more/less tail duration
