congrats. nowadays are trader's heaven, easily 5 points on any right trade. I wish this can go forever. Yeah, I love big volatility!

Gonna have to call it. The daily SPY bullish MACD cross is real. That says the correction is over.

So I now am sitting here with two systems with perfect records locked into opposite views.

1. the TRIN system says we have not bottomed and the correction is still on. It has a perfect record going back like 10 years.
2. the daily SPY MACD bullish cross system says the correction is dead. Its record is 38-0 over the past 10-15 years.

One of them has to lose. My bias is to just sit in cash in this extraordinary circumstance.

qqq still hasn't touched the upper line. maybe it doesn't but here's one path -- tomorrow up at the open then another reversal day to finish at the lows

TRIN is twisted nowadays, so might not reliable as MACD. However the normal MACD crossover usually produce lots of whipsaws, so you must have very special parameters or good combinations.

Well it turns out all the bullish macd crosses that are wrong fail to meet a certain set of criteria. when you remove those, they are perfect.
