sharp pullback here would be bad because it's the 3rd attempt to make new rebound high now. (The 2nd attempt did make new rebound high but didn't go far, so not good enough)

Good morning. Thanks to those who comment on my posts and provide feedback. Agree or disagree, I appreciate those who take the time to reply. For Stockcharts.com members - Martin Pring has an interesting article he posted recently. I feel his analysis has been a valuable addition to their team, and find his insights to be interesting and well reasoned. He seems to think the market is in the process of putting in a significant top. There are a lot of experienced traders/investors here, and I am curious if anyone might share their thoughts on his article.

New York has less than 9 million inhabitants, more or less educated people in the first world. Lagos, former Nigeria's capital, has 17 million, people without resources in the third world. Nigeria has been declared ebola free by WHO. It could really be a shame that Nigeria had better ability to manage this issue than USA...

And keep in mind that the distance between Monrovia (Liberia) and Lagos is more or less same than from Boston to Houston.

Yeah, imagine that a doctor working with ebola patients was allowed to "self quarantine". Amazingly stupid on the part of our country, but we're not taking it seriously (yet).

Looks like it will take all out nuclear war to bring this market down ahead of the Fed meeting next week.

VXX is surging and oil is falling. Not great omens for the market, but who cares, Yellen opens her mouth next week.

For the ISEE Sentiment Index, you note 122 is bullish. What are the threshold levels that are considered bullish or bearish? TY :D

Triangle on NQ measures 50 pts, so we're either heading to 4070 or 3940 depending on how it breaks, but the upside break looks more probable.

Hi Eddie

Martin Pring is a good author and a great technician - doesn't mean he's a good trader. Of course we have to read, read and read. But to discuss online with other traders? I consider that a waste of time. Honestly. Trading is a very solitary occupation. We have to decide ourselves, we cannot delegate/outsource responsibility.

By the way, Pring is not the only technician to see stumbling blocks ahead, some other technicians see them too. And don't forget to check Gold/SPX and UST/SPX ...

Last but not least: There's a long term cycle looming over the weeks ahead

Bearish < 100% > Bullish
(Undervalued opening long calls/puts)
