SPY ran into resistance at a logical level-- Tuesday/Wed minor double top highs ca. 214.25-50... which is also the pivot low support level from last Fri (10/7)

Today, RSP is below its 15min 20ema, while SPY is not-- hence is "leading downward" in that sense.

Not much to add to yesterday's post.

While NYMO did not close in the turn zone, the intraday dip there is still valid.
So, yesterday is a candidate for a NYMO cycle low.
Until evidence provides otherwise however, the cycle is still down.

Even if the cycle is turning up here, price lows with positive NYMO divergences are common enough.

Next week is OPEX.
We also have the final presidential debate scheduled for October 19, which happens to be a major Bradley turn date.
So, stars and planets are aligning for a big turn. Could be up. Could be acceleration down.
That said, we have gone pretty much nowhere since the last big Bradley turn date...

I am still short.
I reloaded the chunk I covered yesterday 15-20 minutes ago.
We have come a long way back to just shy of the middle keltner band in just a short time.
This may turn out to be a dumb idea.
I am going to manage this lot tightly and reposition or abandon if necessary as Janet is on deck later.
The play is for a quick gap close below or perhaps a resumption of trend down.
I have no idea what will happen.

On the bull side, I have added an up target where the 50 day MA is flowing through an open gap from early this week.
If the models continue to improve, I'll switch sides for a go at those up targets.

Love my large moniters, but then if I post a chart it is unreadable
20 day average Average Daily Range noise levels on ES Low 2134, high 2141.50. Doing a good job so far of continuing the range.
20 day average, ADR ES high 2150, low 2126

New to me ADR indicator is a decent tool.

SPX dabble short.. 60m possible toppy. looking for 2142 20w SMA or gap fill 2139.68

SPX tags up channel 5m … *correction gap fill 2132.55 above. .. cover 1/2 here .. "could" bounce.. but gap fill "seems" doable
