Small cap move was pretty much all in the hour before the cash market opened. New York (my guess) traders pushed it up to Friday's spike high before retail and the funds were active. I would guess a stop hunt but I have no knowledge of the order book. If they were trying to ignite a ralley they seem to use the Asian trading desks so they can get help from the European traders.
