CL Oil starts to slip because of Nigerian production and presto a nice piece by Reuters on the exceptional OPEC compliance with the quotas. All well and good as long as no one asks if the quotas are actually low enough.
3:30 Ramp was explained this weekend. Supposedly many ETF's have to rebalance by end of the day, Numbers indicate that retail loves ETF's so the implied is institutions are selling and retail is running into the market forcing ETFs to cause the routine ramps or occasional sell offs at the end of the day. We have seen other articles that many hedge funds buy ETF also, making things cloudier. Now BofA Merrill is saying their institutional investors, who as of last week were flat since Jan 1 are now net sellers. If that is true, and if they hold ETF's (very likely) then we could see three to five point express elevator down rides before the close I think. If we don't then the ETF argument is just smoke.
finally one day bears made to near the close, still 20 min though.

ALSO
There is a large number of big-blocks of volume on IWM today
That’s unusual
Mostly selling, a few buys
We'll see how they settle at EOD; it should be down/red

VWAP (dash dot line) didn't move down that much when the market sold, so looks like bear volume just wasn't there to back up the price, so as usual market managed to get up to VWAP before the close. But clearly no interest in getting long for tomorrow.
