It is so obvious that we will close either flat or green by eod...VIX future are in red currently even after cash VIX is up by more than 4%...very easy way to predict whats coming by eod..

sorry its not reliable technique, but very effective...

NY declining stocks = 3.6 x advancing stocks
NY declining volume = 4.0 x advancing volume

I noticed on the 15 minute comparison chart that visually equity caught down to the dollar overnight (blame politics or N. Korean missiles price is all that counts) and now seem to be pretty well correlated.

Yes there are correlation calculation indicators but we trade in a nonGaussian world without independent data points so 'never tell me the odds'

I don't know. Two different markets: stock option traders vs VIX futures traders (still in CONTANGO)

TICK keeps ticking down

ES tick chart third test of the round number level 2370 this morning. 15 minute chart I just posted shows the Globex low at 2368 however that was after a nice bounce off of 2370 so this level has been tested multiple times since Fridays NY close penetrated twice but here we are again. It must be significant.

Small cap (350 tick chart TF futures) momentum is now down but trend strength is low. They are playing catch up to the ES in re-testing the low.
