NYMO cycle looks up but still below the zero line.
So, could be corrective.

Price tagged an up target after the Fed announcement.

Perhaps the next up target above is on deck for OPEX, but I would keep an open mind.
We had a close back below the upper Keltner the other day.
Substantially all prior scenarios did not go back into strong up trend.
More likely is some oscillation about the upper keltner band followed by a trip to the middle keltner.
Not a prediction. Just bull not likely to find renewed vigor at this point.

I am net short. I was net long until a few minutes ago when I scaled out of a chunk of long.
I thought my remaining shorts would be stopped out by now but so far no.
I am getting on a plane for several days in Europe tonight and will be unable to monitor markets.
So, I will close out positions or set stops and let chips fall based on how the close comes out.

Your view dovetails with Pretzel Logic the wave counter this morning. His current primary count was looking for a surge, then a lower low before heading up for a new all time high. (pretzelcharts is his site) We certainly have the surge as we have exceeded the average daily range by 50% (sounds lots bigger than saying 5 1/2 points).

Coolbizone closed out his longs on the first surge in the 2380 area.

If this holds into the close would expect an overnight move on up. Question is will we gap up open above record highs? Anyone doubts the dovish spin on this rate hike just look at big drop in DXY.

Stops hit. Just long now with profit stop on.
As I'll be traveling, just going to set it and forget it.

My superstition about markets moving when you're unavailable is biting.
Today is firing up a lot of setups for me across markets.
Grumble grumble grrr. Next three days worthy of close attention.

Polls just closed in Netherlands (9 PM local time). No one expects a government yet as the coalitions have to be built. But if the "Dutch Trump" wins big it will put a wobbel into the stability of the EuroZone, especially with the way the French elections are going.
