But IWM did not
Bears don’t like that one bit
Well IWM was leading down by almost 1% more too
Ok now it’s either double bottom or new low IWM
With AD this, gotta root for bears
NY declining stocks = 4.0 x advancing stocks
NY declining volume = 6.3 x advancing volume

I am so sad I am missing out on this party. But a family medical emergency, which is finally ending well, has me sidelined and I expect I will stay that way as with any luck I will become the world's worst home health aid tomorrow. I think at this point I could do at least a half hour of stand-up sarcastic comedy on the brilliant hedge funds that went long oil and short 10 year treasuries.
I guess the real question to be answered over the next couple of days is are the Elliott Wave counters correct looking for a pullback and then new all time highs or is this the start of something bigger. I vote for bigger simply because retail is buying while insiders and managed money are selling. But I know Cobra will be watching for a failed attempt at that high before we can call bear. The other element will be Bridgewater and the rest who follow that strategy. If we hit their deleverage point it will be down down down until a Fed speaker intervenes, and according to Neel Kashkari they may not.
Tin foil hat trigger warning. Some will start claiming the Fed is orchestrating this drop in order to put tax dollars into the Treasury and build demand for the upcoming blizzard of treasury issue. Not saying I agree with that but we all know which movie themed financial news aggregator will link to those stories.

And it’s some kind of “Reversal Day” or “Key Reversal Day” (or something) on COMPQ; it made an ATH this morning. Will COMPQ tag both the upper and lower bolinger in the same day? That would really be something.
Worst is banks, with their pants hanging down way below the lower bolinger
That happened... anyone see when the last time it happened?
