Spring Heel Jack's three day rule-
Middle of the month I would take it but not end of quarter. Urban Camel says bulk of S&P gains from last three and first three days of the quarter. I would say throw in the 8 Fed days and you pretty much have the whole enchilada.

Chart for the road: Short term still looking well, no failure, 5DMA is another layer of support yet. bulls are down but not out today.Peace!

Quarter is over. Time to focus on next bonus check. Gee, lets see where the drivers are going to be. So no suprise, risk off, cash and gold would be my guess.

Last quarter I think the three big plays were debt, currency and oil. Shorting the 10 year treasury should be money in the bank if congress doesn't shut down the government, especially given the Fed speakers this week. Long the Dollar back to ok but no profit for the hedge funds unless they got in right away. Long oil is good if you bought at 45, not so hot if you got in at 50. Good thing prices in Manhatten are falling because my guess is so are the bonus checks.
