OPEC members generated an additional $18.1 billion in export revenues from the production cut deal, JP Morgan estimates

Same topi; somebody at Platt's ( a true "white shoe" firm in oil info) has now released part two of a three part series on why the OPEC cuts are failing. Today they pointed out the Saudi shipments to the US have not dropped. Their bottom line is that most of the heavy lifting has been done by the Hedge Funds acting as a major new source of demand.

Promise I will start posting many of the positive things I see everyday, but the problem is many of them are not actionable in the short term.

SPY indicated at 8am about where it opened--which was just above where it closed.

Entire gain was engendered by US futures following european stocks and futures; however, the US market did hang on to all of those gains...
