I don't think they need luck. The VIX is back down around 10 again. Yes, it could stay in the 10 area for a bit, but the bulls cannot make much progress with these readings, period. We need some volatility mean reversion. If it weren't for the holiday seasonality, the market wouldn't be hanging in. Bottom line: You can trade small moves up right now, but you are picking up pennies in front of a steamroller. Eventualy the piper will get paid and a lot of casual buyers will get wiped out.

Small Caps rolling over. Can they drop all on their own or do they wait around for the ES. ES flat lining for almost an hour. Bulls must be chewing their cud under a shade tree.
