I don't have a facebook account. So if there are plenty of adblock products that work on Facebook and some of the largest and most sophisticated advertisers have stopped using them why has the stock not started a parabolic plunge?

You could write greek plays with CNBC substituting for the gods. John Chambers CISCO, Mario Mozilla the mortgage fraud guy, I mean the list goes on and on and the plot is 3,000 years old. So I wait for the current crop of heroes to be guilty of hubris and punished by the market gods. It is just a question of timing now as the plot line has been revealed and we know what monsters could easily slay them.

TESLA it is the model 3 which is a symbol for the end of government subsidies and having to wait in line at the charging station. Facebook and Google it is the truth of their advertising as I will go with Unilever and P&G on effectiveness, and I remember AOL. Amazon it is anti-trust and a lack of profits in what is seen as their primary business. Microsoft and Amazon it is the paradox of a corporate money saver that has a sky high margin with capital intensive investment in tech that just keeps getting better and cheaper, and I do mean cloud computing replacing data centers and some saying about trees and the sky. Of course there is that quote from the dead British economist, something about irrational markets and the size of your account ;) So I am entertained but I do not get involved until the turning point is clear. The bubble pop pattern is well publisied, the suckers rally is the time to go short.

Yesterday: Amazon’s “biggest hiring event of the year."
They will be hiring 130,000 workers this year all over the country.
Pay is from $11.50 an hour in Tennessee to $13.75 an hour near Amazon's Seattle headquarters.
Thousands of unemployed people showed up across the nation, desperate for even a part-time job.
“Some lucky candidates would be given job offers on the spot: they will pack or sort boxes.”
Please follow these handy dress code tips for your interview:
Long hair must be pinned or tied up to a length that does not exceed the top of the shoulder. Beards may not exceed three inches from the face without being tied up or netted … etc

Zerohedge claiming FANG shorts at an all time low. No shorts means no buyers in a sell off. Since they are all hedge fund hotels and most hedge funds are highly levered IF something happens it will be an ugly exit. Because they are such a huge part of the indexes, IF something happens it will be ugly. Because so much retail money has gone into ETF's, if it gets ugly and they start selling then it will be a falling tide. Something to keep the FOMC members up at night. :D

Not to worry … they will once again scapegoat a “non-white” trading in the basement of his parents London flat!
They are already scouting for potential victims … er … I mean targets.

Impressive! A buy program triggered on the /ES one tick below the overnight low.
This brought the price back into the day's range.

AAPL tries for a double bottom, 5min

APPLE TRIVIA:
Apple’s cash hoard is about $262 billion (it’s actually $153 billion net of debt).
It is “widely known” that of this $262 billion, the vast majority, or $246 billion is held offshore. Apple's actual cash is just $18.6 billion. The rest is held in various securities: Apple owned a whopping $51.5 billion in Treasurys ($20.1B T-Bills and $31.3B in long Treasurys).
Apple's major asset class, total Corporate Securities, hit a new all time high in Q2, just above $150 billion, up from $54.6 billion 5 years ago.
