Gap down but within yesterday's range, so the gap may get filled and most likely a range day. Just a reminder, tomorrow suppose to be bearish as according to Stock Trader's Almanac, day before Presidents Day weekend, SPX down 16 of last 19 and February Expiration Day, Dow down 7 of last 11.

Hmm, off the record, maybe, we shouldn't expect a sharp intraday reversal up like what happened the last 5 consecutive gap down!?

Various futures appear to have exhibited topping patterns overnight and Dow futures have a possible Wolfe Wave target of 12081.

Just a common rule: before a real correction, the VIX may one day suddenly collapse (kind like everyone gives up). For now, VIX is simply too high.

Anyone know why CL april contract rose huge while CL March contract doesn't move at all?

just feb contract is about to expired in 5 days. march is 88, april is 90.6 at this moment.
