Yes, We are F... But the stock market short term are we really that bad? My Fib fan daily since Mar'09. telling me that Bulls still have one leg to stand on, see the RED 38.2% fib fan line. I take that as a support, and long wick candle this last Friday should mean some thing.

What to do intraday? I will buy (DT) if we SPY trades above 120.65 ish anything below that is a sell.
>125.00 bottom of some kind is in. any buy will be for DT, any sell will be OK to hold over night. it's bears country we are in now. good luck trade all.

The ONLY good thing now is that I don't have to listen to pundits yelling to "Buy the dips" any longer.

Pick the leaders, if we are moving up from here I see emerging market shares like EDC, EEM, and FXH to lead. and this is the time when I am telling myself that green is green, taking as much out of the table as possible, greed kills
point of focus are my usual MACD and RSI

Look at US sectors we are still little behind, need to see further strength. Keep in mind, sell the rally, I will sell any Neg. D until it fails. this week will be a good week for day traders me thinks.

Jackson Hole seems to come at an opportune time for the rebound. I agree the emerging markets will lead in the rebound.

The rebound would gives us a fantastic opportunity to short. And when that time comes the emerging markets will also lead the downside as well. :)

Any thoughts on gold and silver? I feel like silver is in a rut right now probably hitting 36 before it attempts to make any push higher. All eyes on gold and its potential parabolic move this week. However if Cobra's concept of SPX hitting 1000 as a worse case scenario unfolds, it might be a baby 2008 deflationary period, bringing down gold quite a bit.

SPX on a new Gann square: the 1120 zone is an intermediate term strong support (2/8 MM).
However, looking at longer term targets, at the bottom of this move = bottom of the new octave = ~1068... After it, next stop @ -2/8 MM ... and strong (before sliding into a lower octave) = ~1017

AGAIN: 1017... as on the monthly chart, previously published here!!!

AAPL: The Flash Crash of 05/06/10 is so well integrated in the “technical landscape” and so useful for building a Harmonic Fan, that one wonders…..

SPX: an approximate but tradable EW scenario, with the help of 2 time/price n/8 fans.
