SMH, at its intraday high, was less than a nickel from a fresh 52week high.

Very hard to be structurally bearish with the semis pushing regularly to new major highs.

Nice recovery in QQQ--now suddenly at its HOD

update: IWM, ITB now suddenly at LOD... as SPY/SPX struggles to break into the green.
Still a mixed picture from the various sectors.

--and now UUP hod. GLD lod.

Actually it turned out to be a boring uptrend day (from the early low). Steady tiny gain.

The ATRs on the major indexes have shrunk to flat squiggles. Algos are speculating over nickels and dimes.

This too shall pass, and volatility and range will return. Meanwhile, correction thru rotation rather than Risk Off is still the order of the day.
