Doing OK on the equity side. Was neutral looking to short a positive OpEx, but alas, it was not meant to be. Got beaten to the punch.
Getting crushed on Long Bond Short (TBT). Annualized CPI reported today was 6% (2.4% ex food and energy), and long bond yielding around 3.4%. Flight to safety trumps interest rate or deflation to kick in big.
Hooray for gold.
Have to agree with the Elliott Wavers and technical guys calling for new leg to bear market.

Cobra, do you consider this the first rebound or the 2nd rebound since the low right after 10:10 EST, with the first rebound stopping at 10:30 ESt...or was that too short

Back from Breakfast...Watch the UTIL (DJU).It got dn to 415 and bounced up.If it breaks 415 with some force.The mkt will go dn fast.We have some support on the way dn below 1140 .The big support is at 1100.Just something to watch.
