Bulls never be the same again after today. now that the low of 110 will almost guarantee to be tested, low risk should be on the evil side until then.

Doing OK on the equity side. Was neutral looking to short a positive OpEx, but alas, it was not meant to be. Got beaten to the punch.
Getting crushed on Long Bond Short (TBT). Annualized CPI reported today was 6% (2.4% ex food and energy), and long bond yielding around 3.4%. Flight to safety trumps interest rate or deflation to kick in big.
Hooray for gold.

Have to agree with the Elliott Wavers and technical guys calling for new leg to bear market.

The "Corey Cross" from yesterday was my spot-on sell signal. Too bad I didn't act on it yesterday.

it seems to me, this reading is fine. es is forming a rectangle in 1135-1145 area at this moment.

Cobra, do you consider this the first rebound or the 2nd rebound since the low right after 10:10 EST, with the first rebound stopping at 10:30 ESt...or was that too short

Thanks

SPX 1060? Now you're swinging to other side.
I still think SPX 1100 will be before Jackson Hole.

Cramer...Cramer...
An on-air debate between CNBC's Jim Cramer and Simon Hobbs over European banks gets testy. Cramer said traders have to consider the possibility that this is a Lehman moment, and Hobbs cried foul, arguing that even the suggestion of a Lehman moment could cause markets to convulse. Hobbs to Cramer: "You told people to buy Bear Stearns!"
