Good question! I use this term to define a "pivot of opportunity". Therefore, it can be used for a limited period of time, while the rules of the game stay active.

Is it still a rebound if it breaks up the down trendline on the 15min chart?

yes, breakout trend line is just to form a Rectangle, a bigger range.

very good, now let's see if this is a 3 push up. Personally I think even this is the 3 push up, the very first pullback would still fail as dashed arrow illustrated.

if this is measured move instead of a 3 push up, then tinted area is the text book target. bulls must show strength here to make it a measured move instead of merely 3 push up. let's see.
