YES! Based on your target information, Cobra, I exited with really nice gain from TNA. Could see lots of consolidation after a long red candle and, sure enough, it is now moving down. $SPXA50R:$SPXA150R have a positive divergence with SPY, and also good chances BPSPX, BPNDX buy signal according to cobra's model. however, better wait for bernaneke.

I know how the real one feels. when I was in China and very young, there were 2 big one nearby my home town. One I ran downstairs and one we just slept didn't feel it although everyone ran away.

Cobra, it seems like you still believe that the overall short-term trend is bearish. Is that just your intuition or is there something technical telling you that? Also, yesterday you said that it looks like the VIX may turn down (which it did today). Doesn't that mean that the market would head up?

In regard to SPX I had no bearish intentions for today (I was bearish for gold), but this thing had to be scalped.

I think I've been giving enough evidences arguing for breaking down the Aug 9 lows. Today's action is not enough to change that view, I need more evidences for the upside.

VIX may just lead a short term rebound on SPX.

Finally, Siemens (SI) gave a BUY signal. One could assume that with it, the corrective W4 (magenta) started today.
DAX might do the same tomorrow…We shall see.
