ES currently running 15 to 25% of typical volume. This is Warren Buffet's truth, the tide went out (algo liquidity programs shut down) so now we know what the real market looks like.

Where should I be drawing my fib retracements from, the high, or the flat line on 2/4 and 2/5. Currently I have both.

good ?!

ot

5 year study weekly sp

so the 34ma has held the market up really well when it has been above the 50ma, with one exception in 2015. that case had to hammer the 50ma (2513 now) before a rebound. 2573 the 34ma, usu a kiss needed.

$billions tied up in that XIV strategy, mostly huge institutions
“…The last day of trading for XIV is expected to be February 20, 2018.” [CS]
The whales are using UVXY, VXX and etc., long and short to try to avoid total loss
Assume massive manipulation of VIX and VIX ETN products that are still trading, all institutional.
This is THREE DAYS ONLY, percentage change of UVXY
Best to stay away
1min

FuturesTrader71 was guessing this morning at a move up to around 2635 then a drop today into the 2570's. So that moving average is a real possibility.

The first rules based system I came up with used McClellan Oscillator and some other stuff. In back testing it worked fine except when we had a waterfall sell off. The fib retracements seem to do a pretty good job on dealing with the waterfalls if they are set up correctly. It has been so long I can not even find my notes anymore.
This is sure looking like a waterfall to me, we will know for sure by tonight I think.
