The VIX (or perhaps more interestingly, things hinged on the VIX) may have changed character. Beware of using old perspectives.
VIX options expiry/rollover on Wednesday. After that, we shall see what happens.

Working on a good looking double top, waiting for R1 to fail as support to confirm ES 26660. Otherwise expect another suddenish 14 to 18 point rip to 2680's.

Breadth chart, daily, as of Friday’s close
Thursday ROUGLY only 10% of SPX stocks were above their 50ma
That’s a bottom (bottom zone)
BUT NOTE THE LAST TWO INSTANCES (green dashed vertical lines) THEY DOUBLE DIPPED, and so did SPX cash

The CNN Fear and Greed index dropped to 8 on Thursday.
In the past 5 years, SPX has closed higher after 1 or 2 weeks 93% of the time (only August 2015 failed).
SPX has also closed higher after 1 or 2 months 87% of the time [Sentimentrader]

it is 3 push up pattern but unfortunately too late for bears as there might be a 5th push which might just be a lower high but enough to use up all times for bears.
