Sorry if this is a noob question, but can someone speak for a second to explain the 10:00 phenomenon with the heavy spike down then up in the same minute?

While I beleive the Fed will do something, I don't think it will happen for a while. Printing money is going to generrate massive debates and possibly even consumer unrest. But the Fed will do some sort of Asset purchase....but not if the market goes up on the "HOPE" of QE into Sep 20....that would then defeat the purpose of the Fed engaging in QE.

I understood that, but I just wonder what makes a very large drop and a very large recovery happen within the same minute like that (a single 1-min candle with a gigantic tail, if you will). I assume it must have to do with autobot systems etc, but that's just a guess and if there's more to it than that I thought I'd ask.
