Is it just me or is your own government announcing it has no plans to immediately destroy the largest retailer in the country causing a 16 point bounce just a little surrealistic.

SPX opening at 200d SMA… 2589.85ish…. mind the gap fade.. we can't close over the 200d SMA, and close under 50w SMA.. look to a possible 2yr downtrend.. into May 2020.

well that is a downer ! the weekly numbers (circle mania!) hinting at we are getting close to a decent bottom of some sort, ? to me is how much more down?? a lower low or turn b4? many folks looking for a new low, maybe we dont get it? weekly bolly at 2548 and weekly 50 at 2565, watching that zone close for a turn, all up to jobs this friday then earnings!

That 2613 2615 magnet is doing it's thing. I am guessing this will reset the indicators on an oversold market.
My guess is the White House triggered the algos which tripped a bunch of short stops which then got all of us day traders buying long etc etc.
This is what I lived in terror of during the dark days of dropping markets, the out of the blue zero warning rip your face off counter trend lightning strike that only happens when you leave your desk and on the only trade of the month where you forgot to set a stop loss.
