RE: the huge DoD “winner-take-all” cloud contract, worth multi $billions
AMZN is believed to be the “frontrunner” (srsly)
Others in the bidding war, fighting cats-and-dogs against AMZN, are:
ORCL
MSFT
DVMT (Dell)
HPE
The process is is “fair and open,” but it’s “…unfolding behind closed doors”
https://www.bloomberg.com//news/article ... -cloud-bid

The DoD decides. Surely Mattis has to sign-off on it. He knows if it goes to AMZN, potus will have his head on a platter.

Here they are: know that the winner will most assuredly see a big stock spike the moment it is announced…so wait-and-see will be too late…

Why were banks hit so hard after EPS?
Dick Bove: “If you take out the capital markets business and the one-time events, it shows these banks aren't doing any business, and that's the key problem…If you take a look right across the board, credit cards are down, auto is down, student loans are down, the corporate area is mixed to down. The only thing that's working is middle-market lending."

EPS Monday:

the missile strike (USA, FR, UK) is rather worrying. Russia ambassador to USA is quoted as saying that:
"The worst apprehensions have come true. Our warnings have been left unheard.
A pre-designed scenario is being implemented. Again, we are being threatened. We warned that such actions will not be left without consequences.
All responsibility for them rests with Washington, London and Paris.
Insulting the President of Russia is unacceptable and inadmissible."

-this doesn't sound good.

I'm wondering how the markets will re-act on Sunday evening/Monday.
I am watching 2532.50 ES low to see what happens there.

I am getting to open solid gain on Monday open. Strikes are done and successful.
