“EMERGING” vs “DEVELOPED” MARKETS
On May 14:
South Korea, Taiwan, Poland, Chile, and the United Arab Emirates may be upgraded from Emerging to Developed.
So what?
Well, if/when that happens, portfolios with an international component will immediately need to buy the new “Developed” countries, and sell them out of the EM portfolios…. to “mimic the benchmark”.

Oil futures have rolled to the June contract. John Kemp reported last week that the Hedge Funds were moving into the Brent contract for roll. Glenncore and others have used spring maintenance in the north sea fields to play games with Brent in the past. In addition Prince give me your money has again said that the goal is $80 a barrel. Amazingly that is the magic number (according to the big brokerages) needed for the ARAMCO IPO to pencil out at the number the Prince needs for his transformation plan for the Kingdom.

ES overnight high is 5 points above price at 2718.50. Since we bounced off the overnight low/Daily Pivot seems it could end up in play. R1 is at ES 2720

CL Well here we are once again. Bullish hedge funds, dropping dollar, greedy producers and it is the middle of the seasonal switch. If you are long you are betting that Venezuela continues to collapse and that Sinopack and the Red Army don't come in and take over the fields. You are also betting that the US consumer actually got an increase in their credit card limits so they are going on a summer road trip. Also you are ignoring the Shale drillers locked in contracts that cover this years interest expense, and really borrowing new money is the only control on their drilling. I am only a spectator in oil so my opinion doesn't count. Still it is a really good soap opera!

Sales of electric cars more than doubled compare to last year in Ontario. Some predicting 50%electrical vehicles on a road by 2024.
Pick for resale cars can be in 2018th. I will sell my 3yr old and go for lease...
