Great comment on trading from FuturesTrader71 today, at the end of the morning trader bite. It is up on Youtube.
What he said was if YOU ARE CERTAIN about the future direction of the market you are about to get whacked. This is a sea of probabilities, there is no certainty. There is a lot of luck involved. Of the couple of dozen traders he has sponsored, every single time someone became certain the market whacked them. He said when he takes a position he is not going to put on a 100 contract position (that's $1,250 per 0.25 point move) if he cannot make a case for being long and short, and one case happens to be a lot stronger.

He does own a seat on the Chicago exchange and has been doing what he is doing for over a decade, in the public spot light so I think it would be wise to consider his words.

Apparently $VIX does not like to be at the bottom of its daily Bollinger Bands!

Short term forecasters have all been focused on closing gaps and getting back above ES 2720. For all intents and purposes London got there, now it is up to New York to prove it by closing the gap. I think it was the early Greeks who first used this plot line

ES 2703.75 is the overnight low, looking like that is the target.

Middle pivot and MA line provided some support, can it be the bottom....

Oil futures have rolled to the June contract. John Kemp reported last week that the Hedge Funds were moving into the Brent contract for roll. Glenncore and others have used spring maintenance in the north sea fields to play games with Brent in the past. In addition Prince give me your money has again said that the goal is $80 a barrel. Amazingly that is the magic number (according to the big brokerages) needed for the ARAMCO IPO to pencil out at the number the Prince needs for his transformation plan for the Kingdom.
