09/01/2011 Intraday Watering

Re: 09/01/2011 Intraday Watering

from ZeroHedge Goldman dropped their NFP estimate from 50,000 to 25,000. A reminder that last year it was confirmed that senior staff members of the house and senate finance committees receive the NFP number this afternoon. OF course it is confidential and they would never pass that on to Goldman, who has had a habit of Thursday afternoon estimate adjustments. So we will see if the channel is still open.

What makes you say that the dip would not be bought?

GDX close > 63.45 points to 66s.

Taking heat on my longs. Hypothesis is SPY 119s, setting up reversal trade up. But the monthly down bar could trump my lesser timeframe methods

I explained in the last night report. And by the way today so far went exactly as the evil plan I shown last night.

Ditto. Made a killing told. Sold at 43.19. :-) Life is good. The huge, long white candle on the SPY was the gift to go short when it couldn't follow-through.

i don't believe it. :D
1 side note, in this country, insider trading rules don't apply to the house. they can do whatever they want to.
i am seriously doubt the motivation of gs. i feel they r kinda spoiled child didn't get what they want, so they start to act. yelling, crying whatever. also there could be a small possibility case that i cannot rule out they got trapped short and they are eager to cover right before nfp. today's volume and price action both suggest 1200 support is pretty good. i will not try any front run. as always, let the trend lead.
The goal is not uniformity. It is understanding and idea exchange.

I'm holding TCK.B puts and HSD, looking for 1180 min. This may be the start of a bigger drop than most people think it is. If we bounce from 1180 and close above 1258 then we'll hit 1300.
