cobra, i've charted approx the same resistance to go short today...116.66...your line is at 116.75. close enough. i will prob buy a little of my spy puts there. hoping around 1-2pm. i don't see how this rally could last.

maybe the people are bullish because now it has finally sunk in that Greece will need a restructuring like we had in Argentina

so better shore up the European banks and let Greece go out of the way

then the markets reaction was also to tank, but later things got better

I found some short term bottom forming/support in ERX GGC GTAT and AVL. Long some today.

i think this is just scaring the hell out of weak shorts before we head lower. my stop for /cl is 87.20

tough market to trade. very confusing

The freefall in Germany continues, bringing the $DAX index (and EWG) back down below it’s ’09 and ’10 correction levels.
That is not so good, as DAX is highly correlated with SPX, and suggests that 1154 SPX may need to re-align too.

Double Bottom buying? Without a break above 116.32 and the trendline I'm on the sidelines.

Looks like we will unwind the entire move up -- could not close over ES 10min (200 period avg).
