09/20/2011 Intraday Watering

Post by Cobra »

Gap up, but just a little above yesterday's high, so no idea whether the gap will be filled or not. I'm sick of this market, where simply every dip was aggressively bought, so guess even if indeed the gap gets filled, it will be bought again. No idea what's going on here, big guys know very very (insert 1000000 very here) good news will be announced on FOMC?

Global ES, could be a C&H (cup with handle) in the forming, if breakout would bring us to as far as 1230. Well, the market is so bullish, so I give 90 decree up, perhaps tomorrow after FOMC announcement we've already at ALL TIME HIGH, YES WE CAN!

indeed the market is sick. For ES traders, they can simply short at 4pm and cover and go long around midnight these days to make a fortune. Scrub, rinse, repeat....

cobra - we join you in your frustration. this market has become plain old gambling as of late..

/cl gap of 85.81 looking to get filled. my mechanical system almost triggered a buy but is has since gone back to sell.

Yes…they know something…Yesterday as VIX was up, the Oct VIX calls were down significantly. One should note that today is VIX OpEx.
Also, this morning the big boys manage to buy bullish ETF positions under the official bids…This is a recent trick in which humans and bots are in cahoots.

Good morning, I expect both gap to be filled. If I have to guess, the bottom fills first, dip buyers come in and take it up to fill the upper gap.

$VIX update. Although it jumped up, as predicted, it was rejected at the level of the MA-s crossover. It looks like VIX weakness for the time being.

Cobra,

The market is horsebleep plain and simple. Talked to my broker yesterday and he asked me what it would take for me to get bullish. I said when we can sell off more than 5% without talk of some sort of QE or bailout. As for now, I have been sidelined with a pile of cash. By the way, did we bailout Greece again?

They talkedout Greece again like everyday in the past week.

The bottom line, I hate this market because it's against what I EXPECT IT TO DO, so since I've clearly realized why I hate this market which means I know I shouldn't have this kind of attitude, therefore the conclusion is I won't hesitate to LONG if my buy setup triggered.

I mean I'll put my emotion aside. Money is cold, it has no emotion.

french banks got parabolic drop. good start for bears today
1191 could be the first reversal. 1180 is my line in sand
The goal is not uniformity. It is understanding and idea exchange.

I think SPY-120 would be the attractive point to the dip buyers.
