Futures Trader 71 said overnight volume was low. Order book says lots of sellers and buyers on either side of price. Alistair on Twitter waiting for White House to goose the market.

There was a chart up on twitter showing 52 week income tax withholdings for the last couple of years by month. Down and to the right since spring.

Coolbiz is bullish today

SPX is having an impulsive bullish action, likely in a Wave [iii]. If so, it will take out 2872.87 ATH and keep going towards 2915-2950-3050 with shallow brief pullbacks. See comment from Aug 17, wave [ii] was likely over at 2833.73coolbiz1 added,

This pullback may be shallow for a lower degree or may have happened at 2833.73 low. If so, it may also keep going for Minute[iii] of Minor Wave in higher degree. discl; went relong before close, continue to be in bullish trend. If a pullback happens will add more.

TICKs are, not surprisingly, supporting the rise in prices this morning...

How do you get your TICK charts to look like that? Is it just on the platform you use? It looks different from the standard TICK chart, and also has different values.

How do you get your TICK charts to look like that? Is it just on the platform you use? It looks different from the standard TICK chart, and also has different values.

I'm using the Stockcharts platform. I made TICKs an indicator at the bottom of the SPX chart (Indicator is Price and then put in the ticker for TICKs) Use accumlate and it works. Why the values are different, I could only guess at that.

On the other hand, I believe if it drops below 286.55, bears will have control and take it down to fill the gap.

need exceed tinted area to confirm uptrend day otherwise it's just a range day at the best. Yes I changed the mind because the pullback a moment ago was too big for a typical uptrend day.
