Stockcharts 15min chart in the Yong Pan of the Cobra shows a seriously ugly topping-tail on IWM after the open. But Schwab’s streaming charting service shows no such thing, just a simple gap down and some basing action.

A topping tail at a prior high is meaningful--but only if it actually happened.

The SPY lod this morning was almost exactly at the Aug.27 gap open level. Price turned right around there.

USO is leading the energy ETFs (XLE, XOP) higher.

On Thursday Coolbiz said wave 4 down to the 2890s and grind sideways. This morning he says on to wave 5.
"SPX was expecting a corrective drop to 2898-2888, it did go a bit lower today to 2886.18. Its likely over for a Wave(iv) and now in a final leg up to 2929+ area from here at 2894 now. 2875 must hold or will need re-evaluation.coolbiz1 added,

He has been saying that if we hit 2950 then he will re-evaluate the expected highs. This is all ES.
