Let's fantasize the market continues sell off through October and miraculously is around DOW 19k at end of month.

SPIN -
Repubs - See what happens when it looks like the Dems could possibly gain control? Get out and vote Repub to protect your wealth and job. The market will rally again once it knows we ares till in charge.
Dems - See how Repubs Tax cuts and policies have created a nightmare in that the markets are just starting to recognize, it has all been smoke and mirrors. We were doing just fine until these crazy tariffs and hand outs to the rich were instituted to create a hyper inflation threat and hugely increased government debt.

Insanity

ES VWAP at 2757 hasn't been touched for hours, still an obvious target for what appears to be yet another buy program.

now double bottom or range to or just a rebound, wait and see. I think bulls might own the close today because fat bears might afraid of holding into weekend as it's usually the time for center banks to do something.

A selloff into the close took the final SPY price down some, but at 276 it was able to close above both the 200sma (274.17) and 200ema (273.51) - per StockCharts

This was/is the absolute minimum bulls needed to do by the weekend.

IWM was again weak, and this is a disappointment to bulls--but better flat on the day than down...
