It is dicey. Could go either way. Big time. Mid terms. Terrorism. Division. And yet money has to go somewhere. We will see what the market decides. Just scalping for me. And some GLD in and out.brokebybernacke2 wrote:we are oversold and uber pessimistic, gut wants me to buy, but just dont see good buy bounce signals yet. its really ledgy...get me some mac d crossovers please...JFR wrote:Big picture. dare I ask for a translation? - "oh we newbies"Trades with cats wrote:From 6 ish Eastern to now a really symmetrical looking pattern. But also means stalled at the prior congestion point so higher regular hours volume is still seeing what the pre-market saw, for now.
I like that adjective: "ledgy". As JFR's graphic indicated, clearly defined.brokebybernacke2 wrote:its really ledgy...get me some mac d crossovers please...
it helps, but no...dead catty still...bear flags in process , dont feel like we hit bottom yet....Daniel wrote:I like that adjective: "ledgy". As JFR's graphic indicated, clearly defined.brokebybernacke2 wrote:its really ledgy...get me some mac d crossovers please...
The downside penetration of a former established HI always gets the algos to fidgeting. Failed moves generate fast moves.
On the 5min timeframe (the one Cobra's master SPY/QQQ chart operates off of) I find that the MACD crossover type signals can trail price significantly, on fast moving and multi-trendy days like these have been so far this month.
QQQ has just gone on a quicker-responding 5 min Stochastic BUY signal... (but so far un-confirmed by intraday Money Flow-- signals and charts are per TD Ameritrade basic).
..Is that enuf to satisfy your need for something more than "gut instinct"?

thanks.Trades with cats wrote:I curled the congestion areas. It just struck me as a really symmetrical looking chart even though there is a huge difference in the volume from one side to the other. I mean at the cash open those 2000 tick bars were printing every 20 seconds!
Thank you.Al_Dente wrote:works okay for meK447 wrote:Link seems to be missing the [ URL ] tags ?Cobra wrote:members only update at 10:07 am
