SUMMARY:

It's a reversal day but the up from the revisit moved fast, I missed the buy (actually while having the lunch).

NOTE:

By here it looked like a range day (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3171&p=261400#p261400). It also could be an uptrend day but at this stage, it's a little beyond my imagination.

I actually believed the low was in here (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3171&p=261409#p261409) because the up was really strong. However, to be safe (lesson learnt from the yesterday's close, remember?), I need see a revisit or at least a consolidation first.

By here the low should be confirmed in (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3171&p=261430#p261430). I was at lunch so missed the up. Even I sit before my computer I could only be sure the low was in on seeing that very big bull bar so probably would still miss the buy anyway.

The pullback indeed was bought just the next bar after my call was very large, which was beyond what I felt as comfortable to buy and besides it's near the close so I did nothing (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3171&p=261438#p261438).

The close wasn't bad. Not enough to assure me tomorrow would be up again though.

DISCLAIMER:

The trading log above is meant for myself only which main purpose is to help improving my market sense.
  • My blah blah about how the market would go in the next dozens of minutes everyday in this forum, is a way to force me to focus on the market, because by speaking loud, if the prediction is wrong, I'd be embarrassed, which of course I'd like to avoid as much as possible.
  • Day trading is not my strongest point. Just for the same pattern, it can repeat frequently on the 5 min chart while on daily chart it may take months to appear once and another month to know whether the idea of trading such a pattern is right or wrong THIS time, so practicing on the 5 min chart is a fastest way to learn to trade.
  • Day trading inevitably would have good days and bad days, it's a part of the game. If I always have good days, it means I'm either lying or already the richest person in the world (then why I'm still trading?), so please don't blame me for making any bad calls. The log is for myself only, not meant to be followed.
