It's not going to be easy, no matter what you do. At least your high/low estimate gives us some parameters to start with.....

You're correct in that it won't be easy.

One thing I haven't posted is the estimate of the day's range - of course I have several but today the computer's default was 39 pts. and second choice 51 pts.
So one way to use it is to watch the HOD and LOD as they form and respectively subtract or add it

e.g at 8:43 the HOD was 2734.75
2734.75-39= 2695.75
and
2734.75-51= 2683.75

so with 2734.75 in place then 2706 (the initial LOD estimate) is scrubbed and the new is 2695.75.
Then when you get to 2695.75 and it doesn't bottom 2683.75 comes into play.

(Current LOD is 2686.50)

Is the V1 chaser preferred to be slightly higher - as in the last one?
and do you watch your TRIN or TICK to confirm?

AS a stream of consciousness reference to QED's V is for Vodka...

I have made a batch of pumpkin wine this fall.

Whne I bought the wine yeast, the wine supply store guy peered at my printout with the yeast type (high alcohol route Lavin EC-1118) and asked:
"Have you ever made pumpkin wine before?"
-no...

"Well I have ... and it taste like drinking from a dirty ashtray!

one thing about tick today, once it failed to hold up it just stay bearish for half an hour or longer, this is rare. failed again 15 min. ago.

like the old saying, counter trend is for the Hero. trend following is the way to go but.....where's the fun without counter trend?

Here's my attempt at the TICK chart we were talking about on Friday. There are 2 MA lines of the 5 min TICK and one line for the inverse VIX. I'm only showing 5 days in order to read the chart a littler easier. I think below -200 on the MA lines is oversold and we are there.....
