SPY made a lower low just now but QQQ, IWM, RSP did not

It is an hour too early for an effective double bottom. The days up move has been starting around Euro zone close when we lose the 10% or so of volume they provide and the brokers are all on the phone for lunch plans.

Futures Trader 71 scenarios this morning pretty much are coming true today. Up (on bad economic news) fail to close the gap then back down towards the weeks lows as DayTradingES has already pointed out.

FT71 was calling for the market to go no where on low volume this afternoon. Yea, everything shutting down for the holidays makes that a Captain Obvious.
