Interestingly, I went short the bios a little after ten. Went sideways for a while, lucky I didn't get knocked out. I thought Pasta Boss's JNJ news would then would really push all drug companies down (ETF up). During most of this down draft in the SPX, I've been waiting to get back to even. Just closed the trade out for even, but pretty disappointed in my performance knowing the SPX has been crashing. Not all instruments move the same!!

Short sales on the agenda. Day trades. I see nothing to swing trade for any length of time. Will check again, of course.

Shutdown fears
“GOP lawmakers are fuming over a partial government shutdown set to hit just in time for Christmas, after President Trump put his foot down ... and demanded $5 billion in funding for a border wall - as opposed to the $1.3 billion which would otherwise be appropriated.

The House held its last vote of the week Thursday [yesterday] and won't be back until next Wednesday - two days before the government shutdown deadline.
