still in my longs...but will sell end of day especially if we rally into it, which, we look like we're going to do.
going to switch up and hold a protective short on my long core portfolio.
whoever said selling the news is what will happen i have to agree with.
NFP numbers: 50k is expected, 0 was previous.
i could see us coming in above 50 (barely), and the market selling the news.
all of this is pure speculation, as employment data tends to be just that...pure speculation.

SP 500 staying above support at 1,130 the entire session today and trading around 21 day moving average for the first time in 6 sessions.

we are now at gap down resistance, a chance of gap up is good also around this area. but RSI on hourly chart is too high to be too optimistic on the up side.

Ok took profits on my 3X S&P long ETF UPRO.

Not going to get greedy here after making some very good gains this week.

Overall, we are still going up, and I may get back into UPRO after the next bear fake-out.

At the same time, I'm getting a little worried because I've been making consecutive correct calls with my TVIX and now, UPRO positions.

This can't continue, so I'm being cautious and not greedy, being nimble moving in and going out when I have profits worthy to take.

I'll probably trade this way until we reach the top of this run up and begin the nasty crash back down to 2009 lows.

Good luck people. Let's see what tomorrow's NFP brings to the table. Could be another bear trap that will be laid.
