Just getting back in the saddle after a nice holiday...

A couple of observations about the chart:

The NYMO cycle is up.
Today may be a turn or simply a corrective move toward the zero line.

My longer term Bear Market signal has been confirmed in all major indexes.
So, I am biased to bear outcomes until further notice.
I have added a downward channel (blue lines) keying off recent lows, which may provide some guidance.

I can see what should be a resistance sandwich of trapped longs above between SPX 2593 and 2700, which I have marked with purple lines.

Seems like Mr. Market is neither here nor there at the moment.
He may decide to go test the resistance sandwich or retest the December low.
I haven't a clue which way at the moment.

I am flat. I may take a poke one way or another if I get a signal in the days ahead, but I think I would prefer to buy a low retest or sell a tag of the resistance sandwich.

Sliced through it, back tested on 30 sec chart and dropped. This is feeling like a downtrend day.

Right here is where they get me too many times. If I had entered long at 245.70, I ride out the pain to where my loss would be minimal or zero, then greed kicks in and down it goes again. Waterboard trading
